Get answers to common questions about Bikini Full Wax.
Most clients enjoy smooth results for two to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and aftercare. Regular appointments extend time between services; hormonal changes can shorten the interval, while exfoliation and moisturization help maintain smoothness.
Sensitivity varies: many clients report brief discomfort during waxing, often described as a quick sting. We use expert technique, quality wax, and calming pre- and post-care to minimize pain. Taking over-the-counter pain relief beforehand can help, but consult your provider if concerned.
Ideal length is about a quarter to half an inch (about 6–12 mm) so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too short waxing may be ineffective; if too long, we may trim slightly before treatment for comfort.
Ingrown hairs can occur but are manageable. Regular gentle exfoliation, avoiding tight clothing immediately after waxing, and using non-comedogenic moisturizers reduce risk. If ingrowns develop, we offer focused treatments and product recommendations to soothe skin and prevent recurrence.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and swimming for 24–48 hours to prevent irritation. Keep the area clean, wear breathable fabrics, and apply a calming lotion or aloe gel as directed. Avoid exfoliation for 48 hours.
If you’re pregnant, have active skin infections, open wounds, severe varicose veins, recent chemical peels, or are on certain medications (like Accutane), consult your doctor or our specialist before booking to ensure waxing is safe for you.
